The River's Edge Inn is located in beautiful Maple Ridge, British Columbia, just a 45 minute drive from downtown Vancouver. When you need to get away from it all, you need to get to the River's Edge! Our tranquil setting and natural wildlife help ease away your stress!

Each of our suites is decorated by an award winning interior designer and offer quiet solitude for a romantic weekend, a writer's retreat or a home-away-from-home. Guests can rent the whole cottage, which has an adjoining door, for total privacy or for a larger group.

The River's Edge suite faces the South Alouette river with a private deck off the bedroom and a larger deck off the kitchen. With a full size kitchen stocked with essentials, you'll enjoy a meal inside or out in the gazebo. Gaze at the picturesque river as you sip your morning coffee either in the comfort of the pine king-size feather bed, or as weather permits, on one of the private decks.

The Fernwood Suite has an expansive feeling with rustic charm. Lounge in the queen size feather bed with its custom, luxurious bedding. You can watch TV or listen to your favorite CD as you peer out the bay window to view the lush evergreens and ferns.
At River's Edge you can enjoy an early morning fishing trip right from the deck of the River's Edge suite! Or take a brief walk up the hill to a nearby golf course. Ride a horse, wander the trails or just relax. There's a fire pit and an outdoor therapeutic spa with 54 jets snuggled in the wooded area close to the cottage.

You'll be so comfortable in this self-catering inn with all the luxuries of an up-scale hotel and all the quiet of a retreat that you won't want to leave.

Unicorn’s Rest is a peaceful cottage nestled in a park-like garden. Relax on your private deck or patio or find your favourite spot in the garden.

We are located close to picturesque Bonniebrook and Secret Beach, and central to many recreational activities on the Sunshine Coast such as kayaking, golfing, hiking, cross-country skiing and cycling. Shops and restaurants are nearby.

The Unicorn’s Rest offers two types of accommodation, The Loft, and The Den.

With skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows at both ends the spacious Loft has a bright, fresh feel. The large deck gives you a panoramic view of the garden. Enjoy your meals at the table outside surrounded by honeysuckle. The loft has a fully-equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, queen-sized bed, double futon sofa bed and TV/VCR.

The Den, on the ground floor, is a cozy room with a queen-sized bed, futon sofa bed, bar fridge and level entryway make this a perfect choice for those who do not wish to climb stairs. French doors open onto a patio to the garden, and another door opens on to a large, sheltered patio equipped with a barbeque and deck furniture. The laundry facilities and spacious bathroom are shared by both units.

Rental of the entire cottage is an ideal option for families or small groups. With a full kitchen, barbeque, laundry facilities and proximity to shops, restaurants and beaches, the Unicorn’s Rest is the perfect location for you to relax and enjoy the Sunshine Coast.
