Highland Cream Resort, just 190 km (120 mi.) north of Vancouver and only two hours north of Whistler, is the perfect winter get-a-way destination. We offer 3 units, including a three-bedroom chalet with private hot tub and all amenities, situated on the shores of Gun Lake in the mountains of the southern section of British Columbia's spectacular Cariboo Chilcotin country

Highland Cream Resort offers a two-story, 1440 square foot lakefront chalet with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a completely equipped kitchen. In the family room is a TV & VCR. Out front, overlooking Gun Lake, is a large deck with own private hot tub. We are a pet friendly establishment.

Winter activities include snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Enjoy miles of trails and fresh mountain air ideal for walking, hiking and cross-country skiing. Local companies offer a huge variety of different adventures including snowmobile tours, horseback riding, and snowshoeing.

Echo Lake Resort is situated in Echo Lake Provincial Park, the lake is surrounded by tall trees with abundant wild life. The lake, 4 km x 1 km, it is spring fed emerald green, it is stocked with Gerard Rainbow, Penask & Black Water lake Rainbows, there is also Kokanee & Lake Trout.

We have 7 housekeeping cabins (non smoking), 35 campsites some with electricity. We have a "no pet" policy for the benefit of our guests & the abundant wildlife.

We have fishing boats, canoes and pedal boats for rent, we also have a small convenience store for basic needs. Come and relax with us at Echo Lake Resort.
