The Nature Trails Wilderness Lodge offers an all-inclusive fly-in getaway for people who enjoy the outdoors and want to experience some of BC’s last true wilderness. Located at the foot of the west coast mountains on Tetachuck Lake, our resort is a perfect base to explore the great natural beauty of North Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. We also offer fly-out packages to remote outpost cabins amidst alpine lakes, rivers and glaciers, at our Whitesail Outpost. Combination packages available too.

The Lodge features 7 individual cozy lakefront log cabins with shower and toilet as well as hot & cold running water and wood burning stove (no electricity); plus 2 “family” cabins with open fireplace, 3 & 4 bedrooms, living-room, shower and toilet and wood burning stoves. Meals are served in the main lodge by our chef. While guests relax and enjoy some drinks in front of the fireplace or down by the lake, sounds and smells of a wonderful dinner are coming out of the kitchen.

You can enjoy an unforgettable day or multi-day trip with canoes or sea-kayaks, or hike to remote alpine lakes and meadows as well as the famous Redfern Rapids and Eutsuk Lake. Try some world-class fishing on several lakes and rivers (fly-outs available), or just relax and enjoy the comfort, remoteness and peace of the Lodge and surroundings, staying on the lookout for the area's wildlife such as Grizzly and Black Bears, Caribou, Moose, Bald Eagles, Beavers and much more.

We offer 3 units, including a three-bedroom chalet with private hot tub and all amenities, situated on the shores of Gun Lake in the mountains of the southern section of British Columbia's spectacular Cariboo Chilcotin country

Highland Cream Resort offers a two-story, 1440 square foot lakefront chalet with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a completely equipped kitchen. In the family room is a TV & VCR. Out front, overlooking Gun Lake, is a large deck with own private hot tub. We are a pet friendly establishment.

Winter activities include snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Enjoy miles of trails and fresh mountain air ideal for walking, hiking and cross-country skiing. Local companies offer a huge variety of different adventures including snowmobile tours, horseback riding, and snowshoeing.
