Furs & Maples Cottages

Furs & Maples Cottages are located just outside the village of Maynooth, just 20 minutes from Bancroft, Ontario. Secluded on a small quiet lake, there are no immediate neighbours to disturb your tranquility. Mostly surrounded by crown lands, our 23 acre property, has more than a thousand feet of water front.

Our waterfront cottage is comfortably furnished and nicely decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including toaster, coffee-maker, and dishes. Our three bedroom cottage sleeps 7. There's a 3 pc. bathroom, large living room and dining area, VCR, and a deck with a breathtaking view of the lake.

At no additional charge, we offer such amenities as a canoe, pontoon boat, paddle boat, firewood, books and movies to help you relax. To preserve natural habitats, we have not created a sandy beach, however we have a floating dock for swimming.

Take a walk in the forest, tackle the pike and bass in the lake or have a swim. Snowmobile trails are close-by in winter. We are just minutes away from Algonquin Park. Golfing, horseback riding, caves, arts and crafts shops, shopping and restaurants are nearby.

Kenslynne Cottages

Kenslynne Cottages offers 3 cottages located on private lakefront property on Faraday Lake which is about 4.9 miles from Bancroft. The shoreline is composed of sandy beach and rocky, picturesque areas. Each cottage is completely private with a natural woodland surrounding each one.

We are very particular about keeping both the interior and exterior areas clean, safe and updated for all ages. Cottages are fully equipped with modern indoor plumbing, hot and cold running water and showers.

All cottages feature a TV, AM/FM radio, toaster, coffee maker, an electric frying pan and microwave, as well as a conventional cooking stove and fridge. Our cottages contain either wood burning stoves or electrical heaters. There is a propane Bar-B-Q for each cottage.

Each cottage comes equipped with an aluminum or fiberglass rowboat and dock. There is one paddleboat to be shared by guests. Campfires can be arranged at a safe outdoor pit near the shoreline (provincial restrictions may apply).

Middleton Place Cottages

Middleton Place Cottages offers two, beautifully furnished cottages and a large ranch house on our estate in Bayfield, Ontario. Come enjoy the true luxury of privacy and peaceful seclusion.

Both cottages and the ranch house have fully equipped kitchens and all the amenities. All have large decks overlooking the pond and orchard. Watching the mist rising from the water in the early morning while you enjoy a cup of coffee is a great way to start the day.

You can while away the hours bird watching, stargazing or hiking through our woods. Our tennis court is always available.

The 100-acre woods are "lovely dark and deep" with a creek winding all the way through and trails that take you down to the Bayfield River. You can stroll through our orchard and watch the apples grow. The plums, cherries and pears may just be ready for picking during your stay.

The charming and historic village of Bayfield is only a mile away and we are mere minutes from golf, theatres (Stratford, Blyth and Grand Bend), beaches, glorious sunsets (National Geographic), great boating, fishing, shopping and fine dining. The upscale restaurants in Bayfield are among the best on the planet.
