The Prehistoric Park displays 19 life size dinosaurs in habitats representing life 230 million to 64 million years ago. The dinosaurs, plant and rock formations are similar to those found in Alberta during the Mesozoic period. The Zoo has colourful gardens, a 20,000 sq. ft. Conservatory and Butterfly Garden. The Northern Forest/Rocky Mountain exhibit features many animals indigenous to Alberta including the endangered Whooping Crane.
