Kawartha Lakes Pet friendly

Marrick's Landing, a pet friendly year round resort, is located in Burleigh Falls. We are a cozy collection of housekeeping cottages nestled among the beautiful oaks and pines of Lovesick Lake.

Choose one, two or three bedroom cottages. Cottage features include: fully equipped kitchens, propane fireplaces, BBQs, satellite TV connections and VCRs, picnic tables, fire pits, and deck chairs. Our cozy cottages with private personal hot tubs are perfect for romantic getaways.

During the warmth of summer, you can swim at our sandy beach, play horseshoes, badminton, volleyball or walk to the Burleigh Falls locks. Spring in the Kawarthas is beautiful. Fishing season opens so you can try your hand – or rod – at catching pickerel or landing a muskie. The fall brings brilliant colours, the Colours ‘n’ Crows Scarecrow event, and Studio Tours that you can participate in. As the temperature of the lake falls, it is also a great time of year to fish and land “the big one”.

Winter at Marrick's Landing is an experience not to be missed. Sit by the fireplace in one of our cozy winterized cottages. Enjoy your personal hot tub under the stars. It is very peaceful here – a perfect spot to leave the city stresses behind. Cross-country ski, ice skate, hike or just relax.
