Blue Moon Retreat

Blue Moon Retreat is a unique, four season resort of only 6 self-catering cottages/houses on 20+ acres on peaceful Purdy lake close to Algonquin Park, Ontario Canada.

This unique country getaway is somewhat remote, yet close enough for even a few days away. Come escape to Blue Moon Retreat!

Our cottages/houses range from the small 2 person picture perfect Sunset to the large 3 bedroom, 8 person units (Chalet and Shangri La). The 3 other units (Maples, Island View and High Noon) all have 2 bedrooms.

Shangri La has a boathouse sitting room, a fieldstone wood burning fireplace and a private hot tub, while the Chalet and Maples have a jacuzzi and gas fireplace. All cottages are very clean, comfortable, and feature fully equipped kitchens, satellite TV with VCR, gas barbeques, and more! All linens are provided. The 3 largest units have dishwashers, and their own washers and dryers. There are complimentary central laundry facilities for the other cottages.

Relax in our wellness spa with it's 8 person hot tub, sauna and sitting/lounging areas. Enjoy tennis, fishing (lake trout, pike and rock bass), swimming (with swimming raft), canoeing, badminton, beach volleyball, horseshoes, sunbathing, rowboats and paddle boats. There are 3 playgrounds for our younger guests too! All of these at no extra cost.

In winter, snowmobilers will appreciate the ready access to the 20,000 Km of groomed Ontario snowmobile trails.
