The only way to experience their timeless magic is from the water, and what better way than by sea kayak?

The Gulf Islands and surrounding waters are home to approx 80 Orcas year round, as well as many more transient whales, including Grey and Minke, migrating through the narrow passages in the summer. Imagine the sight of a pod of Orcas sliding elegantly passed your kayak – there is no more natural or eco-friendly way to see these magnificent creatures in the wild.

Our premier wilderness expeditions are set in perfect settings for tranquil reflection among the mountains and forests of BC. Guided by two ACSKG qualified professional naturalist guides, our adventures have a maximum 10 participants per departure. You will be outfitted with the best equipment available – including new fiberglass kayaks, carbon fiber ultra-light paddles and all camping gear, and you can expect to eat in grand style.

After our guides pick you up from your Vancouver accommodation, the 50 minute ferry ride to Galiano Island followed by an introductory kayaking lesson will build your appetite for our gourmet lunch. Paddling a total of 4 hours each day lets us explore the most interesting of the islands at a relaxing pace. We camp in a different wilderness campsite each night. There is plenty of time to swim, hike and explore - on and off the water. Choose from our 4 or 5-day trips. Custom tours also available.
