The Sundog Retreat is located on a secluded 80-acre lake 10 minutes south of Parry Sound and 2 hours north of Toronto.

There are 4 distinctive and fully equipped housekeeping suites within this unique 4plex, each with it’s own charm.

Each suite is ideal for either an intimate getaway or a large gathering with family or friends. When renting 2 or more units there is the convenience of opening interior doors to expand your living and entertaining space.

This is a four-season cottage rental resort. A retreat that is truly perfect for any reason – for any season. Our accommodations include:

The City Slicker Suite - This contemporary designed 1300 sq. ft. unit has a wood stove, ceramic tile throughout main floor, soaker tub with separate shower stall in the bathroom, private balcony and Oak hardwood floors on the upper bedroom loft. Sleeps 6+.

Country Classic Suite - This generous 1300 sq. ft. story and a half unit has 3 bedrooms. It features a large kitchen, sunk-in living room with a fieldstone fireplace and a two-person Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. Sleeps 7-8

The Honeymoon Suite - This 1200 sq. ft. suite features a wood stove with field stone backdrop from floor to ceiling, heart-shaped tub and screened in porch. It has a gnarly limb banister going up to the master bedroom loft, which overlooks the fireplace in the living room. Sleeps 6 to 8

The Knotty Pine Suite - This suite at 800 sq. ft. features a wood stove, gnarly limb banister going up to the master bedroom, 150 yr old pine cabinets, 4 piece bath with claw foot tub and screened in porch. The upper level has a king size bed in the master bedroom and a small adjoining room which is ideal for a nursery. Sleeps 6-7.

Four Winds Cottage Resort is a beautiful four season housekeeping cottage resort located just outside of Parry Sound, on the shores of Lake Manitouwabing. Our resort is perfect for family holidays, weekend getaways, small family reunions, and snowmobile groups.

We offer 8 clean and cozy cottages. Five of our cottages are brand new and the other three have been completely renovated. Features include: fully equipped kitchens, one or two bedrooms, bathrooms with shower, futons in the living room, gas barbeques, and A/C in the new cottages.
