Walks and Talks Jasper, Alberta, Canada - Interpretive Hikes with an experienced Parks Certified Guide.


Join Paula Beauchamp, a lifetime resident of Jasper, who shares with you her personal knowledge and understanding of our National Park. Hiking and walking is done at a pace suitable for everyone. Groups are small (maximum of 6).

In the summer, we have 4 wonderful eco tours for you to choose from:


Morning Birding and Wildlife Watch - An early morning nature walk and drive to where the beaver, elk, moose, osprey and eagles live. Binoculars are provided.

Mount Edith Cavell Meadows & Picnic Lunch - A guided nature hike to alpine meadows where you'll learn about glaciers and about the flora and fauna. Bring lunch to enjoy across from Angel Glacier.

Secrets of the Maligne Valley - A tour to a panoramic viewpoint, then along spectacular Maligne Canyon. Fell the spray of the waterfalls! Marvel at 'disappearing ' Medicine Lake and picturesque Maligne Lake.

Columbia Icefield Tour - Enjoy viewpionts, waterfalls, and wildlife en route to stunning Columbia Icefield. You will have time for a scenic Snowcoach ride or a short walk at Athabasca Glacier. This tour is available year round.
Walks and Talks also offers winter walks and cross country skiing tours.

Alpine Art Eco Tour


Join Alpine Art Eco Tour for an in depth look of spectacular Jasper National Park. Take a guided walk or use a custom photo vehicle to travel into a number of areas of the Park for scenic views and nature at its best.


TWO of the PREMIER DESTINATIONS in JASPER NATIONAL PARK - both locations in a half day tour - $39 Mountain Special:

Mount Edith Cavell: Close up views of hanging blue ice off the face of Angel Glacier. See icebergs floating in the emerald green Cavell Lake at the base of the snow-covered 3368 metre Mount Edith Cavell.
Maligne Canyon: View 50 metre deep limestone canyon walls. Feel the mist-covered water falls, all created from ancient underground river systems.

Take relaxed and easy walks on paved paths, suitable for all ages and abilities.

Trip Times: 8:30 and 1:00pm, June through October.

Full day tours and custom bus excursions are also available. Outings are suitable for the independent traveler as well as tour groups.

Jasper Adventure Centre is your one stop adventure shop in Jasper, Alberta!

Adjoining Banff National Park to the north is Jasper National Park, which is one of Canada’s largest National Park with over eleven thousand square kilometers of incredible scenery and wildlife.
Jasper National Park is abundant in tours and activities. Experience rafting, from floats to soaks, on the Athabasca River. Other activities including horseback riding, a soak in the Canadian Rockies warmest springs - the Miette Hot Springs, boat cruises at Maligne Lake, Whistler Mountain Skytram gondola ride, Athabasca Glacier Icewalks, skiing and snowboarding at Marmot Basin, Maligne Canyon Icewalk, flights over the Rockies by helicopter or plane, train trips and guided interpretive tours to all of Jasper’s Gems including Mount Edith Cavell.

Animal searches, or "safaris", and birding during the spring and early summer can be very interesting. Getting out and tramping, hiking, walking, running, skiing, snowshoeing the intensive system of trails exploring the surrounding area will take you a lifetime. Close to the National Park take part in dogsledding, snowmobiling and ATV tours.

Jasper Adventure Centre can look after all your adventure tours and activities. We offer both summer and winter adventures and tours. Our staff are certified Park Interpretive Guides and are accredited in First Aid. We limit the numbers on our tours to provide you with a personalized tour and to protect the environment
